For too long, hardware creators, architects, and synth builders in Cairo had to work in isolation — waiting weeks for imported components, struggling without proper soldering tools, or hacking together models on kitchen tables.
8BitLab was born to change that. We remodeled our retro electronics shop into Cairo's premier physical Maker Space and Co-Working Lab.
We combine a cozy, retro-futuristic common area with private CAD/soldering studios, industrial Bambu Lab & SLA 3D printers, precision CO2 laser cutters for wood maquettes, and an on-hand electronics stock.
Whether you are building an architectural wood maquette, programming an ESP32 robot, or hosting a hardware sprint, our doors are open daily from 09:00 to 23:00.
